9. Refinement of the yarn (singeing, steamer and final packaging)

For the gassing process, the yarn runs past a flame, causing the fibers that stick out to burn off. This makes the yarn shinier.

After this, the yarn that is required for dying is sent to the dye works either on cones or on rods (loose) and is rewound onto cones on return.
